Compact Fields Processor

Purpose: This processor removes empty or unnecessary fields from log events, compacting data to reduce transmission size.

Key Features:

• Field Filtering: Specify fields to retain; empty values are automatically removed.
• Data Efficiency: Ideal for logs with sparse or redundant data (e.g., empty fields).

Steps to Add:

1. Edit your pipeline and click Add Processor.
2. Select Compact Fields and add a title/description.
3. Define the fields to compact, referencing data profiles (found in the secondary sidebar) for field structure insights.
