The Enterprise Organization feature from Mezmo consists of four pages that provide you with an overview of information for the enterprise as a whole, as well as the child organizations within it. These pages are

  • The Enterprise Organization dashboard
  • The Child Organizations list
  • Access Management
  • General

In this topic you'll find detailed descriptions of each page, as well as instructions to access it.

The Enterprise Organization Dashboard

The Enterprise Organization dashboard provides an overview of:

  • The entire enterprise’s monthly usage
  • The average index and ingest rate for the enterprise
  • The total number of users
  • The total number of child organizations under the enterprise

The Enterprise Organization dashboard also contains a usage graph that you can use to visualize the usage of all child organizations in a single location, with the ability to choose the timeframe you want to examine. The usage table under the graph provides both a numeric and percentage value for the amount of data used by each logging account. You can also export this data to a JSON file.

  • The enterprise features that are currently enabled

Access Management

On the Access Management page you can configure the type of method that your child organizations will use to log in to the Mezmo Web App. The Sign-In options include:

  • Local Sign-in, which enables account holders to use the credentials they've created in Mezmo
  • Google Sign-in, which enables account holders to log in with Google credentials
  • Other OAuth Sign-in, which enables account holders to log in with credentials from other providers like GitHub or Heroku
  • SAML Sign-in, which enables you to set a Security Access Markup Language (SAML) configuration for child organizations within the enterprise, as described in Set Up Single Sign-On for Enterprise Organizations
  • Idle logout, which lets you a set a time period to log out account holders after they've been inactive
  • Redirect after logout, which lets you set a page to redirect account holders to after they've been logged out

The Access Management page also contains a section for your SAML configuration, if you choose the SAML Sign-in option. All child organizations will inherit this SAML configuration, and can either continue to use the account SAML link they’re currently using, or switch to an Enterprise SAML link. This will provide a menu to select the account they want to use after logging in, as well as giving them access to a mechanism to switch accounts.
