Add or Deactivate a Child Organization

You can add or remove child organizations to your enterprise on the Child Organizations page.

You can easily add child organizations to your enterprise by providing the organization ID and access key on the Child Organizations page.

Add a Child Organization

What You Will Need

  • The organization ID for the new child organization
  • The service key for the organization
  1. Log in to the Mezmo Web App.
  2. Select your organization at the bottom of the left-hand navigation.
  3. Click Enterprise Dashboard.
  4. Click Child Organizations.
  5. Click Add by ID.
  6. Enter the Child Organization ID.
  7. Enter the Service Key for the child organization.
  8. Click Add.
    The new organization will display in the list of child organizations.

Deactivate a Child Organization

You can deactivate a child organization on the General page. This will purge all logging history for the organization.

Once you deactivate a child organization and purge its log history, there is no way to retrieve the purged logs. Make sure that you do not need these logs for future reference before you deactivate the organization. Failure to retain logs for historical purposes may violate security policies within your enterprise.

  1. Log in to the Mezmo Web App.
  2. Select your organization at the bottom of the left-hand navigation.
  3. Click Enterprise Dashboard.
  4. Click General.
  5. Under Deactivate Child-Organization, use the search field to find the organization you want to de-activate.
  6. Click Deactivate child account.
    The organization will be removed from the list on the Child Organizations page.
